Royse City is served by Royse City Independent School District, a school system that was rated “academically acceptable” by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) in 2009. RCISD is dedicated to providing students with a meaningful and innovative educational experience, all while creating a passion in each student for learning. The district’s superintendent, Kevin Worthy, believes that it is the entire faculty’s responsibility to provide their students with future ready skills that will allow them to compete in a global economy.

Royse City Independent School District is comprised of nine campuses, all of which are accredited by the TEA. The entire district encompasses almost 75 square miles of Rockwall, Collin, and Hunt Counties.
