Collin College



As the only public college in the county, Collin College serves more than 50,000 students and offers more than 100 different degrees in a wide array of classes. Collin College also holds the distinction of being the only college in the state of Texas to receive the Platinum Transparency Award by the Texas Comptroller’s office in 2014.


There are currently seven campuses in Collin County. For residents in McKinney, there are two campuses including Central Park Campus and Collin Higher Education Center. In Frisco, you can find the Preston Ridge Campusand in Allen there’s the Allen Center. Plano students go to one of two campuses as well, either the Courtyard Center or the Spring Creek CampusRockwall also offers a campus with day and evening classes at the Rockwall Center during the Fall and Spring semesters designed to give students a start before transferring out to universities.

Students can also obtain certificates in Graphic Design, Architectural Design, Culinary Arts, Business Management, Child Development, and many more. Collin College offers an excellent Music Department, Theatre and Dance Departments, and Men’s and Women’s Athletics.
